See original cherry blossom trees from Japan on Fort McNair.
Unfortunately the weather is not cooperating with us. There is a 99% chance of rain tomorrow. And, cold and potential flurries on Thursday. Here are your options:
1. If you have time and want to see blossoms - head out there today (3/30) on your own.
2. If you are brave, Barb and I will be there tomorrow from 10:30 - 11:30 or so, if it isn't a monsoon. Come say hi!
3. We will try again next year.
4. Look for another outdoor, brown bag event - possibly at the C&O Canal.
No need to deal with the crowds on the Tidal Basin — join the club for a BYO lunch and stroll among the beautiful blossoms.
There will be a food truck on Fort McNair, near the post office, or bring a brown bag.
